The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing scalable, secure, and cost‑optimized cloud solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP for enterprise applications. The role involves working closely with client stakeholders, delivery teams, and security to drive cloud adoption, modernization, and migration initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design end‑to‑end cloud architectures (IaaS/PaaS) aligned with client’s business and technical requirements. Lead migration of on‑premise applications and data to public cloud (re‑host, re‑platform, re‑factor). Define and implement cloud best practices for security, networking, resilience, logging, and cost optimization. Create HLD/LLD, architecture diagrams, and technical standards for project teams. Collaborate with application, DevOps, and security teams to enable CI/CD, automation, and observability. Review solutions from delivery teams and provide governance, guidance, and technical sign‑off. Troubleshoot complex production issues related to performance, scalability, and availability. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud roadmap and reference architectures. Mandatory Skills 8–10 years of IT experience with at least 4–5 years in cloud architecture roles. Strong hands‑on experience in at least one major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and working knowledge of the others. Deep understanding of VPC/VNet, subnets, load balancers, VPN/ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, firewalls, IAM/Identity. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation/ARM/Bicep) and automation scripting (Python/Shell/PowerShell). Exposure to containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS/GKE). Strong knowledge of cloud security, backup/DR, high availability, and cost management. Good to Have Relevant cloud architect certifications (AWS SA Professional / Azure Architect / GCP Professional Cloud Architect). Experience working in onsite–offshore or large managed services/AMS engagements. Knowledge of observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.). Location & Engagement Work Location: Chennai (Client office / hybrid as per project need). Engagement Type: Contract (deployed to LTIMindtree client projects through our payroll).
