Senior Manual QA Engineer Experience: 3 - 5 Years Location: Chennai / Remote Role: Full-time Role Overview Hexa Corp is looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to ensure the highest quality for our web and mobile platforms. You will be responsible for end-to-end testing, from the visual UI layer to the complex API and Backend logic that powers our systems. Key Responsibilities UI Testing: Execute rigorous functional and cross-browser testing to ensure a seamless user experience across all devices. API Testing: Validate request/response cycles, status codes, and data integrity using tools like Postman or Insomnia. Backend Testing: Perform database verification using SQL or MongoDB to ensure data is processed and stored correctly. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs through their entire lifecycle, providing clear reproduction steps for the dev team. Test Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and execution reports. Technical Skills Required Experience: 3–5 years of solid manual testing experience in a fast-paced environment. Tools: Proficiency in Postman for API testing and Chrome DevTools for UI debugging. Databases: Ability to write queries in MongoDB or SQL to verify backend transactions. Processes: Deep understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies.
